This is a compilation of the BSD-licensed gettext tools from NetBSD plus some
of my own code, put into a (hopefully) portable package, intended to be
evaluated for possible use in PostgreSQL. -- Yes, it works.

(Look into the README file inside the tarball.)

The latest version has been tested on FreeBSD, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris, UnixWare.
If you are not using one of these platforms and care about having an
unencumbered gettext implementation available for PostgreSQL, please give it a
try.
